    A returner from the old YD forums

    Hi,

    I was a member of the old YD site - getting on for 20 years ago now I think. Went on a couple of liveaboards in Egypt with a few other members too.
    I've been diving since 1998, did an Instructor course in 2003 and some technical training.
    Just recreational now and mostly blue water stuff.
    Also quite a fan of underwater photography - currently using a Canon EOS 7D in Ikelite housing with a single Ikelite DS-125 strobe. Having seen the results from Go Pro's though I'm tempted to chuck it in the sea ;-)

                  Howdy from another tog and now RB fiddler GoPro are great for uk diving and when you just can't be arsed- which is getting more often for me. Welcome to what is tbh a shadow of the former yd in terms of the pub atmosphere that yd had, but I do drop in from time to time Tdf is a good resource and the best forum. I think Facebook took over for me.

                      Hi They said I was slow when I took 2 months to find the new place but 20 years, well! Stick with the DSLR please we seem a dying breed.
                      Evolution is great at solving problems. It's the methods that concern me.
