    Finstrokes

Finstrokes is now back on line and up for business. So please pop in, old and new, and say hello. John is gradually loading on to the site all the old info and the dozens of dive guides that the old site had.

Thanks Jane....although not normally considered good form to promote the launch of one forum from another...

Historically there have often been links back and forth between these two forums (or YD as it was), particularly as it tends to be a forum for Scottish diving, although has an extensive dive guide section for the whole of the UK which is just coming back on line. If someone was looking for information that was on the other site it was recommended, or at least that was the case with YD. However, if that is no longer allowed I am sure you will delete this thread.

You do know that TDF has nothing to do with YD don't you?

Are you sure it's back? According to my internet, it doesn't have a DNS entry.

While I am member on the finstrokes forum and do find it useful for local advice by far the section I use the most is the dive guide. This is the only site of its kind for the UK that I am aware of though the conger alley website had one before that was closed. A dive guide giving directions to site, entry point, site hazards, underwater directions, map and photos is an invaluable resource. A big thank you and best of luck to John in running the new version of finstrokes. Lets hope the hackers get bored and leave it alone this time.
Why is it that with everything in life I always find a more difficult way of doing it (and not intentionally)

Thanks for those that pointed out the guide, it was something I was unaware of.
