Welcome to the new home of TDF - Please read

On behalf of Wilbo, Gareth, Mal and Mike I'd like to welcome you to the new forums.

We have completed the migration. There are a couple of points we need you to be aware of.

    1. Redirect / Shortcut Errors
At the moment, the .com domain is still with 1and1, and in the middle of being transferred. If you look in the address bar above you will notice you have been redirected to a .co.uk domain. This means if you have shortcuts on your desktop or in your browser that point at new posts etc they will not work. Once the domain has been transferred to 123 these issues will resolve themselves. If you are having problems clicking on things the very first thing to do is clear your cache. There are instructions for doing so at this address http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

    2. Domain Madness
Now then, at the moment our redirect is working nicely. Once the .com domain moves away from 1and this will stop working at the forums will crash and burn. They will then stay down until we configure the domain on 123. We have no idea when this will happen and it's just a waiting game, but when it does go down it will only be down for minutes.

    3. Bugs / Issues
This is a completely new installation of vbulletin. We have no idea what bugs and issues are in here. So if you find something, please let us know. However, clear your cache first!

    4. Database performance
We have left the forum database as it comes out of the box at the moment, but have a clever little gizmo that will tell us how to configure it for best performance based on your usage. In other words, it might be a bit slow for 48-72 hours but will then speed up quite a bit. This process will be ongoing for a week or two.

That's it. Welcome to the new forums.

I've globally disabled notifications for likes / dislikes until we can find out if user-specific option is available.

Bit of a styling issue with the 'Like/Dislike' buttons - they look like a separate post, rather than attached to the post itself.

I have a screenshot if it's just me

that's just the way it integrates with the template CSS. We'll have wilbo have a play with it in a week or two once the more important issues have been worked out.

would it be possible to change the layout of each post so that the posters signature doesn't start on the next line after their 'stats' on the LHS, and the two have a bit of overlap on the vertical axis? So we don't end up with things like this: http://www.thediveforum.co.uk/showth...666#post121666 (See post #428).

Also, are you aware that the logo that appears on the LHS of the address bar in your browser (and the subsequent logo on each tab) is currently the Vbulletin logo, not the TDF one?
