I have somehow managed to jam the mechanism of one of those little keysafes with the code on 4 barrels like a bike lock. Naturally the key is inside and the house is otherwise sealed with a hungry cat inside. Suggestions? I've left an email with a customer who's a mobile locksmith.

They are super easy to break into if your mate has a lock picking hook. Assuming that it opens from the top slide the tool up the side of one of the rollers at an angle of about 45degrees and fiddle about until you catch the bar that runs above the "wheels" and pull it downwards. Generally quicker than using the combination.

Sadly, I know the combination, but the thing is jammed. Opening it may involve a rubber hammer

Tap it, gently, with a hammer 👍

Hopefully that will do it. Or copious amounts of wd40....

    Or both 😃

Very late to this but out laws keysafe got "jammed" solution eventually was lean on the flap down opening heavily then apply the combination. WD40 was applied etc etc just needed a heavy pressure then the combination unlocked with ease.............

All fixed! We tried various hitting/squeezing/poking scenarios, then he said he was going to have to kill it. He wedged a screwdriver into the release slot and hit it very hard with a hammer. It sprang open and is now happily working perfectly! £10 for fuel

OH bought a pump action silenced 410 shotgun for rabbit control but it was not ejecting the fired casings. Took it back to the gunshop who were very disinterested and suggested trying different cartridges so more purchased but problem remained. Gunsmith not interested despite supplying the gun (OGC ) as a brand new gun. Gun taken to a different Gun smith who found a part of the ejection mechanism missing, original seller still not interested.......
New gun shop sends gun off for repair but nothing happens as they claim it is very very difficult to get spares from USA. After 6 months OH asks for gun back goes on-line to look for the appropriate part, finds it orders it and it arrives from USA 7 days later! OH strips gun, fits the missing spring and now the gun works perfectly. It is pathetic that the "experts" seem incapable of doing their job.
