Confirmed by my train trip from Euston to Milton Keynes yesterday where a school party was debating the big sports-ground with an arch over it (think - what is Wembley famous for?) and could not agree between Tottenham or Arsenal when their teacher piped up and offered Watford!

Not really that close - Miles away to be strictly accurate. Whatever the name, the man is a cock - as is the other Piers that I can quickly think of, Piers Morgan.

I couldn't answer that either. I couldn't even tell you where Wembley is. I'd say London somewhere but that's a pure guess. Why would you expect anyone to know what it looked like who wasn't interested in whatever they play there? (I'm also guessing football).

I believe they do perform football matches there, it looks like that kind of stadium. The only time I went inside the place (it had twin towers then) was for a music event called NetAid, which I recall being quite an entertaining evening. I gather the Rolling Stones and Spice Girls also played that venue at different times, and some folk still look back to a football event from 1966.

I knew it had been used for music events but other than that I kind of vaguely know it's used for some sport I don't care about (which one, I don't know) and that it's somewhere in a part of the world I never go.

I can't see why not knowing anything about Wembley makes a group of people thick. That's what Google is for. We've wasted decades on an educational system that emphasised knowing facts over being able to think and it's now been made redundant by a rectangle of plastic in your pocket.

"Everyone is thick except me" is depressing to see repeated so much on here. And very wrong.

Deliberate policy as it is problematic when people think for themselves. If Gove was in charge we would be learning by rote and learning the lies they want you to believe. Soon we will be China and block stuff on the internet that is "inconvenient".
There are only two things that are infinite, the universe and Tory corruption and I am not sure about the universe.

I`ve spent most of my life being told anyone who isn`t me is intellectually superior/ higher skilled/ better.
I am very used to being the least educated person in a room.

So my bench mark for stupid is "less than me".

Turns out there are actually quite a few deciles below me.

I went there to see a small rock combo. I believe they were called Pink Floyd.
