As they didn't mention motorbikes I think it is fair to assume that they are allowed. There you go - being more sensible and following medical advice at the first opportunity.
With one arm in a sling Ah Ah! Maybe not. Or bicycles or rowing machines and probable a lot I've not thought of. The operation to fix it is not nice and usually involves another to the remove fixation so worth co operating to try for primary healing which usually happens but jigging it around won't help.

Iknow, I know - especially as Moto Guzzis have a reputation of requiring a firm left hand to operate the clutch lever, so perhaps a break from bikes may be required. I am now trying to figure out how to rejuggle my life and the family’s holiday plans for the next few weeks - on the plus side I won’t be expected to wear a suit to my daughters graduation (just 2 years late).

On the waiting list for a hernia op. (To have it fixed, not to have one installed). Assuming it will be more than 4 weeks as I'm on a trip to Norway then. But thereafter other trips planned. So it might be like threading it between all these commitments. Strangely, the doc didn't say lay off diving whilst waiting for the op..... She doesn't know that I'm a diver, but she didn't say lay off diving

Damn. Had to google that. Which annoys me as I spend most of my waking hours fighting it with all my might.

Because I could not stop for Death –
He kindly stopped for me –
The Carriage held but just Ourselves –
    And Immortality.

We slowly drove – He knew no haste
    And I had put away
My labour and my leisure too,
    For His Civility –

We passed the School, where Children strove
At Recess – in the Ring –
We passed the Fields of Gazing Grain –
We passed the Setting Sun –

Or rather – He passed Us –
The Dews drew quivering and Chill –
For only Gossamer, my Gown –
My Tippet – only Tulle –

We paused before a House that seemed
A Swelling of the Ground –
The Roof was scarcely visible –
The Cornice – in the Ground –

Since then – 'tis Centuries – and yet
    Feels shorter than the Day
I first surmised the Horses' Heads
    Were toward Eternity –
    Paul.

We give 350m a week to the EU. Let's give it to Dido Harding instead.
