Like LPG cylinders they are designed to fail safe and not get to the "bomb" point - but even an uncontrolled rupture would be a BIG fireball if it was significantly above its boiling point -
it flashes to gas which the n burns explosively - Google "Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion" or BLEVE for youtube videos for what happens!
Not quite the same thing, but numerous years back on the s/b M1 at Sheffield, an artic tautliner stopped during the evening rush hour, just before crossing Tinsley Viaduct at junction 34 when one his trailer brakes caught hold and set on fire. As is the norm, the entire trailer soon went up in flames, and the load? Yep, aerosols!!
The east end of Sheffield was paralysed as all the roads in the area were shut down due to aerosols exploding through the trailer curtains, which I sat watching from the yard of the company I drove for at the time. It wouldn’t (shouldn’t...) happen nowadays with the advent of EN 123642 XL “load bearing” curtains, but it was a damned impressive sight at the time.
We use HF for chemically cleaning the internal surfaces of power station boilers. It's very efficient but it does make life interesting!

People. For various reasons, I haven't really left the house except to do a couple of evening things since early December. Decided to do a quick round trip to pay cheques into bank, pick up prescription and do some food shopping. I had forgotten that the world is full of people and none of them can drive, walk round a supermarket or look where they're going. Back into my nest for another 3 months.
Definitely don't doubt Dawn - not if you value your life
