Spring hormones finally got the better of our last pair of pekin bantam brothers today and they locked in grim, silent battle that wasn't deflected by a 2 gallon bucket of water. By the time I'd run for the welding gauntlets, Darkwing was a crumpled heap of blood and feathers on the grass and Caramel had lost interest in him. I ran in and scooped his limp corpse up, only to have him regain consciousness and start trying to noisily shag my arm, attracting Caramel once again. Ingrate.

Things I hate? Bloody couriers. I have three booked today to cover different places to go and shipping rates. The DPD bloke just pulled up next door he is second DPD van to them this morning (there is a red national one and he is the blue "local" one) Plus we had a DPD delivery another van - contractor unsignwritten.
