Surely an basic Arduino programme, a small solar panel and a stepper motor could do it for you?

Amazingly, there are digital sundials. No Arduino, no electricity, just sunlight and numbers.

As far from the sea as we could be, except when we can actually get in it.

Yeah but, when sundials were a thing, so long as you got there on the right day, you were on time.

Reminds me of the time a mate asked me to build an arduino controlled chicken feeder. Apparently suggesting the old inverted bottle trick wasnt the done thing

The sea is finally flat and clearing after weeks of really destructive storms and I've woken up with completely bunged ears.

It seems like that is to be our fate this year - just as one could lifts another arrives.

I just spent 20 minutes looking for a part for one of my model helicopters.
    I finally found it.
    Installed on the helicopter.

It was the other one of the matching pair that was missing that part but I had that one on my bench.
Somehow I got it into my head that they both needed doing...
    Helium, because I'm worth it.
Waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounded like a radical holiday opportunity until I looked it up.

I came into the kitchen today to find my beloved changing the clock time on the oven to 9 am (it was 8 am). I asked why she was doing this. Madam had noticed that the oven clock was wrong compared to her watch.
The watch was still on British Summer Time.

I put my watch forward an hour, then tried to prevent Rob from putting his back because he was clearly wrong.
