My local has a three real ales that get changed on a regular basis and one that they keep on all the time. This means that I get to try quite a few different ones

My favorites, when they come round are: Sign Of Spring (Buces Brewery), Bees (Arkells brewery), Beer and ESB.

I shall try to remember to report back what is currently on once I've sampled some tonight

Birch makes good wine too. Drill a hole. stick a tube in, other end in a demi-john, in a couple of days you'll have it filled with a lovely base for wine, or just drink it straight, rather good imo...

If you ever come to Denmark you should go there. They make top notch beer and also beer vinegar and beer snaps.

Last time i was there i was in no condition to drive home... ;-)

                            Well last nights sampling ...

Plain Ales - Inn The Sun. A nice blonde beer. Far too easily drinkable it had a good, full, taste but not over powering.
Cottage Brewery - Dutchess. A more traditional bitter with a ruby colour. Nice "bitter" taste.
Stonehenge - Danish Dynamite. A light coloured ale with a slightly hoppy taste - at 5% it has a nasty habbit of sneaking up on you as it does not taste that strong.

Banks's Bitter, mainly 'cos I've run out of Titanic ales.

Just getting a few in because next week I go for a fairly serious op & I'm gonna have to be off the beer for a while.
