My history teacher used to say that the romans were the first to standardise sizes and that you could by a pair of sandals anywhere in the empire knowing they would fit you.

He also added "and, since then, nobody else has managed to achieve this".
"...are we human, or are we diver?"

Hollis size 9 boots - anyone know what size Quatros to take?
I got XL novas for my rock boots but they will be massive on drysuit boots on my new suit, I hate them anyway. Want me trusty Quatros back.

The advantage of LDS now priced out of the market. You could go and try them on.

negative on that one Tim. All my LDS will actually price match online, im happy to use that as it saves trying to get a parcel delivered.
None stock quattros. one will push scupapros the other has limited selection. F1/2s I think.

Yep. I have built in dry suit boots that are size 8 and they just about fit in an rk3 large. They're not big chunky boots, more like a 'robust' wetsuit boot.

Well I ordered online a size m, Guy in the shop phoned and said look we have had lots of sizing problems with the apeks fins, so he asked me where I do most of my diving, I said hardly ever here, over 90 percent abroad and in a 5mm wetsuit boot. He said he's a size 8 too so will try the fins on. Few mins later I got a call back saying he had tried them and a large was needed.

                    New suit needs new fins.

I'm looking at an Otter Britannic with neoprene socks.

I like the Turtle fins but don't know how my UK size 10's will fit. I suppose the choice of rock boot will make a big difference - DUI, Hollis, Scubapro or Otter.

Has anybody put this combination together before - what works?

My Otter Brittanic has size 11 wellies and I use 3XL Turtle fins if that's any use.

Thanks for the offer. Very good of you.

I'm now rethinking Drysuit options. Spend a bit more, get a better suit..

I have an oThree Ri 2-100 with the fitted size 8 HD Boots. I use Regular Hollis F1 fins and they fit like a glove.

If my boot was any bigger I'd have to go up a fin size.

What is the best fin for a size 13 O'three boot? Looking at either Apeks RK3 (HD) or Hollis F1.

The biggest they sell. I bought jet fins in the largest size and had to stretch the springs to stop my toes from being crushed. Not sure what other fins are like but if jet fins are anything to go by, even the largest size is a bit on the small side. It’s a pain in the arse having big feet. You know what they say, big feet....big fins and all that!
