Maybe I've just been unlucky but in recent years I think the bad has outnumbered the good. Microbreweries almost always seem to be disappointing now, I tend to avoid them now especially the ones attached to pubs. I guess the ones that were successful from when the microbrewery trend started are now just classed as small, independent breweries. The newer ones that always seem to be two twats in flat caps playing at making beer kits in a lock up are usually crap. The ones that think Brewdog is something to aspire to.

There are a couple who will remain nameless very close to some of the companies I work for. Rats piss would be a good description.

Anywhere that sells melon flavoured IPA's is going to be full of Canada Goose/Parajumper wearing types too.

I mentioned watching 'Our flag means death' earlier and said it was a slow starter that might grow. We just finished the first series last night and it had become almost perfect, well worth sticking with! Very loosely indeed based on a true story, loads of good character parts and Taika Waititi as Blackbeard - I would!

I've just been doing the yearly knock down of cobwebs in the cattery prior to a bit of painting. I found an old dry cat poo balanced on top of the wooden run front, 6ft up and outside the actual pen. The cat would have had to balance on a beam 2 inches wide and turn its hole through 90 degrees to squeeze it through wire mesh with 0.5 inch holes. I find the vindictiveness very impressive.

If the cats can get up there, I'd tie feather dusters on their damned tails. Save you some effort.
