The adverts for that pish Beckham sells pretty much said that. I can't remember how they worded it but was something along the lines of needs a mixer to be drinkable. At least they were honest.

I do agree - it's ben the malt of choice for me for over half my life. I do wish they'd stop offering 'new' bottlings and just go back to 10, 12, 15, 18 and 25 year old.

The other one I like is Coal Isla.

I only tried Bunnahabhain last year as I'd expected it to be like the others. Glad I found it, it's probably my favourite now too.

The fancy version thing really gets on my nerves too. The standard Lagavulin 16 year old is my favourite. Somebody once bought me a realy expensive Lagavulin Distiller's Edition which wasn't nearly as good as the normal one.

Ditto Tanqueray gin. The standard is delicious and the fancy pants Tanqueray 10 is not good. I was at a fancy bar a while ago and ordered a Martini, asking for it to be made with standard Tanqueray. It wasn't good so I asked them to check which gin had been used. It was 10, so they made me another.

Still, I suppose the marketing departments have to show they're working for their livings.

Single malt just means that it is blended from the produce of a single distillery. This does not automatically make it better than a blended one that is a mixture from different distilleries.

The cheaper blends tend to have a predominance of grain rather than malt whisky = a lot of bite but not so much flavour.

I feel like my wife has been kicking me in the head while I'm asleep.
Before you ask, I ain't done nuffin, honest.
That's how it feels. Very sore and sensitive areas on my scalp, but they almost seem to be moving around. The night before last, it was almost painful to rest my head on the pillow. Yesterday I felt shattered
No chance of getting in to see a doc, so went to the chemist. He suggested it may be shingles. Oh, great.

Not this then - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/cellulitis/. If it is get in contact with 111 as it can be bad around the head if it reaches the eye...... easily treated with antibiotics though.

Is this the Highland Park you prefer? Don't you feel discarding the boxes is a bit wasteful?

That box would make a lovely birdhouse.
