Been DIY for years, there's not been enough up top to care about as the grey v bald race continues. Half inch all over, SWMBO tidies the neckline.

Been self care for over 2 decades now on a set of professional Wahl clippers . Best yet. I use a very close 1. It is very useful to run your hand over the crop to feel where the slightly longer bits are missed.
Evolution is great at solving problems. It's the methods that concern me.

I got shears during COVID. SWMBO was tasked to be my barber. Every attempt turned out shite so I ended up with a zero all over for all of last summer.
Now I have a choice of 2 barbers so no need for DIY at the moment
Remember anything you read on the internet was probably written by some guy sitting at home in his underpants! Including this !!

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
We've had a huge range of birds in our garden this year including some unusual ones. Today, we've just seen a bird with long tail reathers like a long-tailed tit but not the correct colouring. What was unusual was it's behaviour, beating it's wings very fast and hovering a bit like a hummingbird. It then started clinging to a vertical wooden surface on the eaves of our garden cabin a biy like a tree-creeper but again the wrong colouring - it had a white bar down the sude of its wings. Unfortunately it flew off just as I was powering up my camera.
The amount of food the birds are eating at the moment is amazing. We have six feeders plus a fat ball holder for five fat balls and the sunflower hearts (3 of them) and the fat ball holder empty daily.
