I have had a lovely evening in London seeing a couple of university friends that I havenít seen for 25+ years. The conversation flowed, no point scoring, just chatting away as if we had seen each other last week. Now on the train home.

    This is medical equipment.
They'd charge £5000 to refill it with tap water.
    Helium, because I'm worth it.
Waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounded like a radical holiday opportunity until I looked it up.

The X-ray machine part I make, hasn't had a price change for twenty years; and that one was down.

Do you mean what you get paid for it or how much the company who put the machine together charge to replace it?
Evolution is great at solving problems. It's the methods that concern me.

One of the MRI scanners at work burnt out a part "these never burn out" says the engineer. So reliable that spares are not on the spares list!! Cue someone driving overnight from Erlangen (where Siemens make their scanners) with a replacement. Scanner back up and running a bit over 24hrs later in time to scan a subject who had travelled 200 miles. That is impressive service however the air con people have not yet fixed the air con which has been down for 1 month in the equipment room of said scanner............

My daughter has decided to come out of the closet this evening. I am rather shocked and don't know how to deal with it.
There are four varieties in society: the lovers, the ambitious, observers and fools. The fools are the happiest.
