Different scale, I have just bought a mini sewing machine for £16.50. I have made some curtains for my campervan. Manly, ain't I.

Well, I do actually, your comment was very hurtful and I am going to have to buff my nails now, it is the one thing that will cheer me up.

Keep your eyes open for the sewing accessories in Aldi and Lidl
I rescued a 60s Singer electric m/c at th start of the lockdowns and it cost me a couple of quid for a new capacitor to get it going again. I've sewn more than 30 different sails and stuff for the model boats with it.
Always on the lookout for a bargain, I've figured out that Wilco's knitting needles are a cheap source of aluminium rod for spars etc. Their plain nail varnish is great for sealing knots. The hook and eye (bra hooks, lads ) are a damn sight cheaper than the same thing sold as sail hooks.

When my wife died I passed her sewing machine on to our daughter.
Like I was never going to need it.

    It took two years.
I have a nice sewing machine now with cool gadgets.
    Helium, because I'm worth it.
Waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounded like a radical holiday opportunity until I looked it up.

I made a wall mounted sundial this afternoon, from a piece of slate and some copper pipe.
Figured that, with possible power cuts on the horizon, it might be worth getting prepared

    I`ve just bought another business.
Offered both staff jobs on existing terms and conditions, +10% pay bump.
    One is after 20%.
I thought he was on a decent screw before I offered the 10%.

    Buyers remorse setting in already.
