This afternoon, I am mostly assembling my wife's new electric bike. Looks like the future is (electric) blue.

Today I am trying to decide whether to make beer or cider.
    Paul.
If God had meant us to breathe underwater, he would have given us larger bank balances.
Human beings were invented by water as a means of moving itself from one place to another.

Today I am trying not to think about my Father having a pace maker fitted.

Makes my quandary look a bit pathetic. Hope all goes well.

Rob (outraged during a small fight) : Did you just try to gore me like a walrus?
Definitely don't doubt Dawn - not if you value your life

Cider won out in the end. I have made a John Bull kit. I have also purchased some apple juice from Lidl and will have a go with that tomorrow. If it goes wrong I will blame Noggin 'cos he suggested it.
I have never really had much success with cider even tho' I am very happy with my beer making. Strange.

the guy who has the next allotment to ours said he found a load of gooseberries left over from last year in his freezer so made wine with them. He said it was very like Rosť but with a hell of kick - more like port than ordinary wine.

    I hope it goes well.

My dad had his pacemaker fitted a couple of years ago now and was right as rain as soon as it was done.
It's even got bluetooth so downloads itself everynight and gets updates from a server somewhere.
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
