As far from the sea as we could be, except when we can actually get in it.

    That time of year again.
Feel like I've been punched in both shoulders.
    But I did get a badge .....

I turned that down. The doctor looked, er, dodgy.

The cat was very very ill a week ago, and has refused all food offered since, surviving on a diet of small mammals. This morning, he ate some cat food for the first time and I was jubilant, as he has to be in the cattery for a week and there's not much of a mouse supply. I just walked through the house in the dark and saw a vague small shape out of the corner of my eye. Turned a light on, only to find I was surrounded by tiny stiff mouse corpses, I must have stepped over them several times! Presumably the little bugger is now too full to fit them in, but the conveyor belt of habit hasn't slowed.

Absolutely slaughtered and filling in Seasearch forms for somebody else's dives - what can possibly go wrong?

Also a customer did a proper horror film scream when I pointed out that she was about to tread on a grass snake yesterday - still mentally dining out on that.

I'm milking this time I've taken to rebuild me.

Today it was toe one; I slept through each hip, but was awake for this.

I've got a great picture of the actual surgery site, but suspect it would break the forum rules. It's amazing, skin pulled back and toe joint visible.
Happy to be a woke* feminist SJ(K)W snowflake in a godless universe, no matter what some experts think. And Braun was a twat who's not missed. At all.

    * Had to add woke; couldn't resist.

What a waste of native wildlife
