Spent the weekend in the local hospital and my right knee has been replaced with a new metal/plastic hinge. Hobbling around chewing painkillers and working my way through flexibility exercises. Sweating up to the last minute that it would be cancelled due to the Covid rush. Excellent NHS service, food good and staff excellent.

Now need to get fit enough to have the other one done and maybe it will be time to get back to diving etc.

Just checked and I have run 112.72km in 19 runs in 14 days.

Not too bad for a man that has long COVID and still testing positive. My infection is over 7 weeks old and the virus is dead and cannot be transmitted before anyone complains but I cannot pass a PCR test to get back to work.
