As far from the sea as we could be, except when we can actually get in it.

Bempton Cliffs and Puffins galore yesterday
    Ravenscar and Seals galore today.
    I like Yorkshire.

But I don't like the morons who couldn't obey all the notices to not get too close to the seals.

I don't know, so far no one has managed it 10 times.

On a more serious note, I have been under the knife a few times this year, hopefully the final operation today. It all started out with a casual enquiry with my GP, ended up with my arsehole being rebuilt.

I am now in good condition, feeling better than I have for many years. I am all clear so will be able to annoy you all for a few more years, possibly decades. The moral of the story is, get yourself checked out if you have any concerns, early intervention can make a big difference.

Any regrets? Only that I cannot fart Colonel Bogey any more.

Why am I thinking of robocop?
Good to hear it is all behind you now.
Actually, I suppose it has always been behind you, but you know what I mean.

Strange, it is very quiet round here today. Normally there is a lot of helicopter activity during the grand prix. Hardly any emergency vehicle sirens either.
Oh well, back to the kithen, I am cooking some dishes from Kerala (south west India.) Nice and spicy with lots of coconut. Mmmm.

Remarkably quiet south of Silverstone as well with regard to helicopters, perhaps it will all kick off tomorrow when the GP actually happens.

Lovely drift dive off Peacehaven this morning, now off home to shower and look less like a salty pirate and more like a party goer - in a shark print dress of course! You can take the girl out of the sea, but...
