I suggest both. I go cycling for several hours a week, typically an hour or two each day. But do a fair bit of stretching afterwards, which is yoga ish.

My portable air con unit has just been delivered. I am just waiting for the gas to settle and then I can fire the beast up. R290, I see. I think that is just a posh name for clean propane.

Only ten minutes to go. According to some, we will be getting a lot more heatwaves. Probably due to selfish buggers like me running domestic air con units. Be prepared, dib, dib..

Our weather station is showing 39.9C.

I was in New Dehli on business on one occasion when the temperature went up to 49.5C and the office wasn't air-conditioned! Fortunately, it was a very dry heat, like being in a sauna. If the temperature had gone beyond 50C, by law employees would have to have been sent home.

The most unpleasant heat I've experienced was in Palau. In the early evening, the temperature had 'dropped' to 37C but the humidity was well over 90%. Just standing still, you were absolutely sweating buckets.

The cynic in me suspects the likelihood of the temperature ever reaching 50C would be low, even with a flame thrower's assistance.
Happy to be a woke* feminist SJ(K)W snowflake in a godless universe, no matter what some experts think. And Braun was a twat who's not missed. At all.

    * Had to add woke; couldn't resist.

Absolutely - in the UAE all outdoor work must stop by law at 50C, never gets there, officially!

Have managed to keep the house at 20, thick stone walls curtains closed during the day and then at night all windows and doors open if outside temperature drops below 17. Spent the day hunkered down inside! We have a side burner on the gas BBQ which we use to cook anything like spuds to make potato salad.
