For historical reasons the volumes of some barrel units are roughly double the volumes of others; volumes in common use range approximately from 100 to 200 litres (22 to 44 imp gal; 26 to 53 US gal). In many connections the term drum is used almost interchangeably with barrel.
Also Gun barrel and A barrel or cask is a hollow cylindrical container with a bulging centre, longer than it is wide. They are traditionally made of wooden staves and bound by metal rings.

But I agree tax break should be for smaller volumes as well.

Failed 2 lateral flow COVID tests yesterday so booked a PCR test. Had that last night. Result came back negative at 08:00 this morning. Just getting ready to go into work tonight and I get another text saying I am positive. Does this often happen?

Gonna give up doing birthdays. Summat always happens. We've come down to Poole to celebrate my birthday (yesterday) with my mum and sister. In the morning mum nipped out to get some milk and takes a tumble. We all ended up spending the rest of the day hanging around a&e.

    Thanks.
My sister had already got some milk for her to put in the fridge when we went to pick her up for lunch. She just forgot and decided to go out anyway.

SWMBO has gone down with Covid. I am currently negative, my theory of alcohol poisoning is standing up so far.
