    MOD2 in Gozo this summer

Hi, I'm going to be based at a Gozo Technical diving this summer as a technical divemaster intern.

Whilst there I'm going to do my MOD2 on the JJ with Kieran Hatton www.divingindepth.co.uk. We haven't finalised an exact date yet but it will be sometime between June/July/August. If anyone has an interest pm me or Kieran with your possible dates and unit.

I'll be on site so will sort out all logistics including accommodation and transfers if needed.

Which one? We're probably coming back to Gozo this year for the first time in a few years. I normally use Gozo Aquasports but have never done any tech dives with them so I may be looking for an alternative.

Www.gozotechnicaldiving.com. Run by Tom Steiner and Audrey Cudel. They used to run Dahab technical. It's first and foremost a tech facility, although they will look after rec divers very well also.

Thanks Sue. Who would you recommend? I'd just be looking to spend a bit more time on the wrecks and the blue hole with a twinset (<40m). For the rest of my dives I'd be happy with the normal Gozo stuff. I always liked GAS because of the way they looked after kit and the fact that there'd be 2 or 3 vans going out to different levels of diving.

Most dive centres have twinsets, side slings etc, but it's not very often you see 'technical guided diving', I'd suggest Gozo Technical as your first port of call. For regular rec diving, drop us a PM

The most expensive beer on the island We either drink at the Captain's Table (Moby's bar - significantly cheaper), or down the slope from TN at Churchil'ls if we want the sea view

How is Mark at Moby? Loved diving with them but not really set up for trimix. I must have got locals rates at Ta Nona - but then I only drink cisk or is it carlsberg dressed as cisk there! Never done churchills, can't seen to walk past the other place without bumping into someone I know!
