Diving and non-diving competitions...

It would be good that the photos entered were taken for that particular competition instead of a library shot. I appreciate that for the UW shots this may be difficult, particularly at this time of year, but non UW comp shots could certainly have this stipulation. I know it's only for 'fun' so just a suggestion.

I try to do that for both underwater and over water. It's more fun that way.

If the themes were more broad in nature, such as 'Red' for example, this should provide plenty of scope.
Bardo, to be fair, you did start that competition on the 7th November (yes, i searched for it) which didn't give anyone anytime to shoot some fireworks.

Possibly, athough just as an example, photos of the following could equally apply:

- Sunrise
- NYE celebrations
- Spring
- Wedding
- Blank canvas
- Any form of instruction
- Diving into the water/off a cliff/out of a plane
- Anything that depicts any form of journey
- Any form of romantic gesture
- Any distinctive change, e.g cliff to air, road to mud, open water to cave/wreck entrance

as well as the usual plethora of baby, lamb, fish eggs, seal pups and other cutesy type stuff....

Sounds fun, the competition idea.
I would be tempted to put in the stipulation that the photograph should not be a library shot (so taken after the theme has been decided on). But yes, especially for the UW shots it might be more difficult.

so can someone please start this comp off either with this choice or another one....i cant as i havent time to sort out the poll etc as hoping to move
