Everybody dives their own way and everyone is right. I just shrug and get on with it. OK, "shrugged" as it has been three years since I've been on a dive boat. At least the only shambles when shore diving in the middle of nowhere is me.

But anyone that turns up in a waxed jacket and brogues, always have a third person in the room.

Next time I dive Scapa Flow that's what I'm doing. The shorter the dive the better.

I did it when I was ripping the piss out of how BSAC divers on a boat I was on were using any old falling apart shit as dive kit. Turned out they were friends of someone I know. That was an awkward day 2.
