But surely some history around Dublin? Like a Post Office featured somewhere I think.

Pretty much all the royal symbology has been done away with. There is still the odd post box though.

I am currently in UK though on my way to dive an RMS and a HMS this weekend so might manage something
If my post doesnt have a typo, then I have probably been hacked!

The library at Trinity College still has a section with Charles II's name on it. It's a beautiful room.

I can't believe I said something nice about Dublin

    Paul.
If God had meant us to breathe underwater, he would have given us larger bank balances.

Dad’s household didn’t have a TV at the time of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation, so he arranged to introduce his parents to those of his girlfriend (my mother) and watch it on their TV. The local London buses weren’t running and so they tramped several miles to my mother’s house, a walk Dad as a spring chicken was used to but which he was surprised that his own mother managed.
This time round it was Dad without a TV, so I hosted him in my hotel room for the occasion, with various edibles including M&S’s Colin the Caterpillar, upthemed by them to King Colin for the occasion!
