Hi thank you for your reply, very brave of you!

I've had chronic pain since childhood starting with chronic migraines. I have other conditions too, all painful all untreatable. When I learnt to dive as a kid we didn't have medicals probably bc I lived in Saudi Arabia, so I've been diving in pain all my life and thus far the gp in the uk has signed my forms. I have something called Bladder Pain Syndrome but it's never been this bad and bc of covid I'd never dived with it before, I've had an over active bladder also since childhood, but I don't understand why it becomes impossible to pee once when I'm in the sea so I wondering if anyone has experience of that. I've never had this problem before and I don't have it on the surface? I really didn't think of all things it would my bladder that stops me, I gone through incredible amounts of stress in order to be able to dive, it means a great deal to me.

Thank you for your reply. I've had OAB all my life but it has now evolved into Bladder Pain Syndrome but I don't understand why I can't empty my bladder in the water? My bladder wasn't empty last time it was full, but it seems I can't even snorkle and empty it let alone dive?
