55m was always a troublesome depth according to some navy manuals

I'm sure you could look it up and find some reading .
From what I can remember they just got more bends for that table depth. The other tables deaths seems to have better out come in comparison.
Seems the navy table for 60min
Was 15mins longer than the 1 to 1 that some use and remember old guys got on the O2 at 18m in the good old days.
A CCR and a constant set point should in that ball park . Don't have my laptop to run
My deco planner to see what the numbers are to day . But it won't be 2 to 1 .

Tables 410 foot to 600 are the norm have been for maybe 100 years almost .
300 foot working air dives was a common working depth .

    Paulo
    Do me a favour.
Run 55m for 60mins 1.4 setpoint and O2 at 6m . Post the numbers please.
I'm just interested in what the old book says and what a modern desktop pumps out.
    Edit

Don't go mad with the safety settings

    Multideco, running GF50/80 with 16/45 30mins at 60m is a total run time of 89mins. 60m for 40mins is a run time of 124mins.

I will stick to my 2:1 back of an envelope guestimate

Gobber: for your profile it give me a RT of 162mins so 1.7:1 ... not too much of a difference with a much more agressive o2 load

But a few years ago I took my single tank rig to Gozo with my CCR for a few deeper dives.

    Do you know what happened?

I ended up diving CCR for everything because I hated the time restriction of Single tank diving, I preferred the warm moist gas and I was more comfortable with the redundancy on offer diving CCR

Yes I quit CCR now as I am unable to justify it but frankly, OC is like diving in a 1.6 Fiat Linner compared to CCR diving which is like being in a Bentley

Is just less of a diving experience

We are looking to buy a place in Dahab later on in the year, but I have to sell two UK properties to fund it. If I get it, my next job will be finding a cheap KISS or APOC unit to pay with out there.
