    Personally, I use a mid-sized wheeled suitcase.

When I first started I had a cool dive kit bag but in truth, it was way too heavy empty, and when the zips failed I just started using my boring-looking suit case.
Many years ago now I meet a group from Dorset in the Red Sea, one of the guys had a simple holdall made up by a local sailmaker in Dorset, indestructible and very light, that's why I ended up using something similar, those dive bags years ago are currently your total weight allowance!!, unless you travel Business' obvs

I have one of them as well. You need to get the older version as the newer ones have been re-engineered and are weak as a wet tissue.

I have the equivalent Samsonite that isn't made of carrier bag material and zip-loc bag zips. It's done a few trips and still looks like new. I think I got it off eBay for the same price as the Argos one.

Have had a Northern Diver Voyager for years and it’s a great bag. Lots of handles for loading, strong, voluminous, hard bottom for shape. Use it for diving and many other trips. Easy to recommend.

Does the hard bottom fold flat when the bag is empty?

It’ll crush down to about 3 inches high. The bottom is moulded plastic with the wheels — no telescopic handle, just a couple of loop handles for dragging.

"Bottom" meaning when it is laying down
