I have nothing to do with BSAC any more apart from being a muggle member. So anything I write on here is likely to be complete bollocks. Hooray!
I could have guessed you would have crawled from under your rock to throw stones. Still no moisture indicator on my desk... or as far as I can tell, anyone else's despite your repeated offers. CE marks all over it if you used your looking eyes instead of your w@nking eyes. And a basic knowledge of CE marking would give you the knowledge the the CE mark is applied by the company placing the product on the market within the EU, not necessarily the distributor in a specific country.

Take another, but this time closer look at that riveted Data Plate on the compressor itself showing Central Compressor Consultants. Granted its a little "cock eyed" what with the two rivets out of alignment and one covering the wording, but no matter. That's just poor build quality. Point is it has no CE certification mark for the build. It has nothing for the build.
Granted some of the sub component parts from suppliers, the motor, that little solenoid valve in the original picture and the filter tower you illustrated above have a CE mark
But this is just part part of the requirement for some individual sub contract sub assembly components.
But for the compressor build itself it has none.
But It's a good reason why possibly the University of Nottingham off loaded this pile to the ex chairman of the BSAC to sell privately on an open diving forum I happen to be a member of.
Look I'm not crawling out from under a rock to throw stones. Im just the pebble in your shoe pointing out one of the potential pitfalls in buying a Frankenstein build compressor to my fellow members.
The availability of spares and a compressor engineer with the spares to service it would be another. Just Saying.

I refer the honourable bellend to pages 63-68 of the user manual that outlines all the certifications and approvals including CE etc. UK distributor is Motivair and it's a current model.

But your selling a Central Compressor Consultants compressor. with no CE. I refer my honourable gentleman to the date plate attached.
Now as for Motivair how about you and me club together and buy Motivator's building. As Its presently up for sale.

You could then sell all the visual indicators you like from the place and I can make your coffee.
In retrospect maybe its better if amateur sports scuba divers purchase from the local retail dive shops and that the commercial trade OEM's didn't get involved directly with the public.
You made a good choice with Aquatron Ronnie is a nice guy and you paid a reasonable retail price for the product.
My mistake was offering them to fellow members on the forum at the manufacturing trade price. I thought it would work out akin to that Christo-Lube offer I made some years previous.
It won't happen again.
Incidentally as you state your selling this compressor for £3000 in order to buy a replacement filter tower can I ask how many filter towers you planning buying?
For example the Bauer industrial size filter tower the P60 model is around 840mm long weighs around 11 Kg and costs £550 + VAT each just for reference you understand.
I can email a picture of them if you like just pick a quantity number 1 to 101 I can even add the visual indicators into the picture if you like.
If nothing else we save any vapourware comments from the peanut gallery. Iain
No your mistake was offering them to fellow members on the forum (hooray very nice of you) then supplying diddly squat (boo).
I need a coalescing filter plus housing, and a moly sieve/carbon one plus bracketry plus installation plus intermediate pipework and pressure systems inspection signoff. I'd ask you to quote but it would be pointless as I would get a box of steam off my piss.

I wish I had £3k spare, I’d live a compressor over the PITA 90 min round trip for a full.
