Paramina Typhoon 15E silent compressor with very low hours

Selling on behalf of Nottingham Uni SAC.

The club was donated an almost brand new compressor. Bought by the University engineering department for a project, it was bought in 2016 (2015 year of manufacture), used for a whopping 21 hours then they switched it off and walked away. They were going to chuck it in a skip, but someone knew one of our members and asked if we wanted it so it's with me here at work.

It's rated at 250 lpm and will pump happily to 320 bar. Comes complete with a thick walled double ended 50L (approx) 414 bar air receiver- I think these just need a visual and never need a hydro as they are not transportable. It weighs 135kg...!

The compressor itself weighs 250kg and needs 3 phase to run it (has a 5.5kW drive). It will also need a fill whip or connecting to an existing panel. You can see the thing running near M1 J26. Has all sorts of fully and semi-auto functions on it via the controller panel.

    Link to the model here:

£3000, collect from Nottingham, or transport can be arranged at cost (you will need a fork lift to offload it)

I have nothing to do with BSAC any more apart from being a muggle member. So anything I write on here is likely to be complete bollocks. Hooray!

Does that include slat wall rinky dinks, or do you need a NATO part number to go with the bog roll?

You need a trade account and have been on an approved buyer list since 1972

There was, There is. Here goes.

It's on thing for Nottingham University to put out an open tender for a high pressure air compressors for the little sprogs under the universities care to jack around with.

Another to shell out hard earned grant money for the cheapest tendered product that met the minimum standard requirement on the tender document for a HP air compressor.

My guess is it was quite another after 20 hours of running to find out that there is no certification worth a jot and no CE mark on the date plate. ROFL no

Got it for free by donation- sounds like the right thing to do is donate it to someone/something worthy
