High pressure sprool

Hi,

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question. I’m relatively new to diving and I’ve just bought a Beaver ‘brass and glass’ SPG and a Miflex Carbon HD high pressure hose. Do I need a high pressure sprool when mounting the gauge to the hose.

Not a stupid question. Always better to ask.

Short answer is yes.

However there are different types, shouldered, straight and different lengths.

Eg have a look at the pic here.

No idea which you will need. Would have expected one to be included when you bought the gauge. Might be worth speaking to the shop you bought it from

Check the gauge though, it might already be fitted and just one end visible.
