Divesoft BOV integrated manual add, what’s it like?

I’ve got the divesoft BOV and like it but have been wondering about the dil and o2 buttons that you can add to it.

Looks like they’d be super convenient and easy to find at the risk of more weight in the mouth (mitigated somewhat by a gag strap I suppose).

Anyone use them regularly or tried them? What are they like?

I have them on my side mount unit. Find them easy enough to use, but it makes the whole mouthpiece heavier and make the whole breathing hose stiffer. It's worth it on the SM unit, not sure I'd bother on a backmount unit.
