Shearwater or OSTC. I have both and they're both ace.

Never had an EON but a friend did and it was easy to read.

I went from a Cressi Leonardo to a Shearwater Petrel and have not regretted it for a minute.

Is it before the software issue - two or three divers in my club have quite new ones and they are all still on Beta software which the manufacturers say isn't certified for diving so they have to have a backup which rather defeats the object...

It is the earlier model, I think they differentiate them by the button shape and mine are round, but I hadn't heard that about the new ones do you have a link for that information?

Thanks for the information everyone, I’ve ordered a shearwater peregrine. Someone in my club has one which I had a look on. I’m going to keep hold of my zoop as a back up.

I think you made the right choice - the shearwater computers are the best imho. Clarity of screen is amazing.
