    And at the risk of turning this comp ecclesiastical. A small chapel on the Camino Frances, internal light was mainly through windows of thin cut marble giving a wonderful diffuse light that this picture does not do justice to.
    Evolution is great at solving problems. It's the methods that concern me.

    Not a good photo. This from a salt mine where the light makes it appear the cross is floating instead of being carved into the wall

    I use Flickr, but that is mostly as I used to be reasonably active in a local Flickr meetup group

    One from decades ago. I think it was at Docklands, London. Light camera, Ektachrome film. 1600 ISO IIRC. Push processed in my darkroom and been sitting in a photo album ever since.
