    Dehydration

    .

    Dehydration.

If you get quite dehydrated, how long does it take to get your body back to normal and does age affect the process?

I have noticed of late that if I lose a lot of fluids during the day and then have a hot bath in the evening I'm thirsty for
days after. The kind of thirst that you feel you can't quench.

Never really noticed it before but does it take longer to replenish my fluids or it seems I'm thirsty more.
It's not diabetes or other medical condition, I'm checked regularly for things like that.

So long winded way of asking do you notice if you lost a lot of fluids and does it take longer to recover with age?

Apart from, maybe you can get dehydrated more quickly as you get older. We're having this issue with both the MIL and my mum atm.

I think some find your sense of humour a bit too dry.

              .

I wanted to be insulted by the comments I received but I'm a grandad now so
scarily they might be closer to the truth

Sod it, I'm glad I never mentioned going to the toilet 4 times a night now
