Here have this reg I’m breathing as you know it’s a safe gas and I’ll pick up my second reg and breathe from that.
That’s very kind of you. Thank you very much for stopping me drowning.

    Or am I missing something?

Desperately trying to remain relevant and providing a box ticking exercise to satisfy insurers?

Glad to see this. I must say that we dive with BSACers quite a bit and have never had any friction over our long hose configuration.

...when we started twinset diving, we learned this from Garf. It hardly constituted a "course" :-)

Perhaps this is why it's merely a 'workshop'.

This workshop was announced in an update to the Primary Donate Policy in November 2020, but this is the first time I've seen that the materials have actually been published.

So I had a first read of the instructor notes today and in my opinion it's a pity it wasn't circulated around more of the instructor base before publication. I say some bits are very prescriptive and also has holes in other bits.
Think it needs more work on the use of 'long hoses' when diving.

I'm very pleased it's out. I did some training recently where I was doing long hose donate with two stages, and it is definitely possible to screw this stuff up with extra clips both sides at the waste and shoulder.

BSAC maybe late to the party but we should all practice the basic skills again and again and this is welcome...

    Hello all. It's been a while ;-)

How does wearing two stages make a difference to donating a long hose? Or do I not want to know... ;-)
