Mary Rose diver to aging wannabe sky diver?

Did a tandem sky dive with an instructor while grandson jumped out solo in front of me from same aircraft. Brill!

Growing old is compulsory, growing up isn't.

If God had meant us to breathe underwater, he would have given us larger bank balances.

Much more fun to act your shoe size rather than your age!

I realised when I was about 18 that “grown up” people are generally miserable sods with the cares of the world upon their shoulders, a depressingly low capacity for acts of kindness and with little joy from life. I decided then that was not a great prospect and have seen little reason to change my view.

Maybe I've been putting off breaking into base jumping for too long....
    Helium, because I'm worth it.
Waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounded like a radical holiday opportunity until I looked it up.

A few years ago when I saw my GP about another injury caused by abusing my body, I said to him that my problem was that my brain still thought I was 29, not 69. He laughed and said far better to be that way, that he had too many patients who were the other way.

    Good on you young man!

Your birth certificate might say you are old but your attitude seems to say otherwise!

I have a similar problem with skis; stamping in to a pair, seems to make me think I am 25 still.

Getting on a snowmobile in Finland a couple of years ago made me realise that I could not buy another motorbike. Grabbing a throttle made me realise that inside this fat, old man is a mad twenty year old.
