Non U/A photo competition. September 2021. Time and Tides.

I have been walking coast paths this week around N Wales. I have been struch by the changes of view Time and Tide produces. So suggest you might like your entries to illustrate the difference the moon makes on the appearance of our planet. A beach view or a rock pool or anything else you can think of relevant to Time and Tides.

Home now with a broadband conection so will put up some examples but I see they are not needed.

But I also had in mind flotsam and jetam.

Evolution is great at solving problems. It's the methods that concern me.

Not even the navy can stop the tide from coming in...

The tides make a huge difference to my bird spotting. This is a favourite Mangrove lagoon during a big February high tide. You can just about see a small sandbar above center of the photo where the villa reflection is where the birds are resting.

During the summer the sand exposed has been huge, even during high tide, so the birds are much more spread out. The species recorded here are fascinating:

This was a beautiful day with no wind so you can easily hear the calls of the birds. Sometimes the wind is howling (like today) and I struggle to even keep the camera still.

It is not clear, to me, as to whether they will wait for ladies?
