    Portland Harbour Park question

Hi all, I plan a short dive trip to Portland Harbour to dive the underwater park (and the dredger) with my son (19) who is not terribly experienced. I tried to find a youtube clip to allow him to see what's it like to dive there. Many thanks and best wishes, Flurin

What park? Where in the harbour is it?
Definitely don't doubt Dawn - not if you value your life

Not in the harbour. Go out through the South exit and turn right. The statues are in an area marked by 4 yellow buoys.

The official website is here but any local boat operators know the way.

omfg, somebody made the sea into a quarry dive. It's the marine version of Sea Palling.

Yep, they really did. To complete the experience they need to arrange shore entry and parking, with cups of tea and burgers also needed.

You need a little boat ride to the "park " with Dive Beyond https://divebeyond.co.uk/ . I'm unable to share photos without a lot of faff, last dived them in 2018 and it was fun but a bit boring! Mind you, if I was a novice I'd probably love it.

Yep, we’re down this weekend, got 9 to dive. The weather better play ball and let us head durdle door/kimmeridge way. I’ve dived the dredger with newbs, would never inflict the “shit dumped in the sea” park.

I’ve never been but it’s a nice touch to have it there. A nice double with the Countess when the weather is horrible?
