Leak from WINGS ELBOW ASSEMBLY WITH CABLE.

After my last dive I noticed my wing was not staying full for long. Checked the bag and not leaks but noticed i had leaks from the elbow it self *in the grove of the body.

The wing is a custom divers wing before i order a new part.

    Couple questions

    1) Has anyone changed it for non pull dump version with out having to change all the other parts on the bag it self?
    2) Can the elbow it self be fixed or is it throw away part?

    cheers for your help

sounds like its come unseated - I'd disassemble first and reassemble making sure the hex on the elbow is aligned with the hex in the wing assembly.

Not CD but I have swapped one for a non-pull dump fitting with no problems. In passing, the reason for doing this was that the elbow snapped completely in 2 mid dive (in the dark) at the elbow where it meets the retaining ring behind the rubber seal and the symptom before total failure was an annoying steady leak as you described - if there is any doubt I would chuck it in the bin.

        Update

Removed the elbow gave it all a clean and the seal. After couple refits its now holding air in wing. Been full for last 3 days so all working 100%.
