    Skinny ladies suits

    Hi all,

Mini-me needs a new suit. She's 5'7 and about 50kg - this means that she's as skinny as they come, unfortunately she doesn't have too many curves either.

We've tried Scubapro, Beuchat, Aqualung and Bare suits... the LDS has no idea where to start ordering suits for people as skinny as her. If they are tall/long enough then there is room to fit two of her in the torso region.

She needs a 5 to 6 mm suit for this summer in the Mediterannean.

Without going for a made to measure suit, who makes suits for skinny-minnies?

    thanks

    Jon

I would think suits aimed at male youths would fit - they always seem designed for whippets?

Fourth Element and Mares tend to come up on the smaller side. The FE Xenos is a lovely suit and very stretchy so the length might not be such an issue in a smaller size.

Warmbac caving wetsuits are sized to suit skinny cavers. CA1 almost looks like a normal wetsuit from the 1980s. Perhaps not....

Also, try Othree. I've got a great, stretchy shortie that's lasted for years. They have womens/mens tailoring. Try both size charts :

I've just looked at their size guide - unfortunately they don't seem to be great for really thin people, although they do have more sizes than most

Thanks for the suggestions - Measured mini me and ordered a 4th element suit - should be here by the end of the week (customs clearance may alter this...) so we'll find out if we chose wisely

It's a great suit, I have it in the 5 and 7mm and love it. Hope she has many happy dives in it!
