    It's an interesting point, you did used to be able to purchase 'travel kits' which seem to be to all intents and purposes service kits.
    I'd say a service kit is a pack of o-rings, valve seats etc. required to perform an annual service, whereas spare parts might be bodies, a-clamp to din conversions etc., however if you're replacing a cracked 2nd stage body, you're doing the work required for a service anyway.

    I've not read the whole thread, but am in a probably uncommon, but not unique position.
    I'm an ex-service tech, so are qualified to service S/Pro (haven't had a 2 year update for ages but my newest 1st is an Evo, so attended that update), Apeks and some Aqualung (it's per reg), I also have all of the tools, however I'm in a similar position to most when it comes to sourcing service kits as I don't work for a dealer any more, even though I'd only service my wife's and my equipment.
