Got mine on Thursday (Pfizer) and pleased to say that, apart from a slightly sore shoulder at the site of the injection, I have had zero side effects.

Now to wait 12 weeks for the booster.

As far from the sea as we could be, except when we can actually get in it.

Given that our 'hub', where we got our jabs is/was a residential outdoor activity centre, soon to be restarting some of it's operation, I wonder if they'll be able to honour the appointments for the second jab that have already been made?

If not I'm sure there is someone scrabbling around to find an alternate venue. Our really big centre is the Black Country Museum and I'm fairly sure I will be going there on 2nd May. Don't think this is going to fall apart though possible some people will be diverted to alternate places. They have your email address?

If you got the first under gp, they’ll sort number 2, if you got first under hub, you got to book number two at the same time, so the hub will still be there to deliver. (Hence my car park scheme in hertsmere councils car park I’ve kicked out till October)

Me and the wife got our 2nd jab last Tuesday.
She is 65 and we were called in after less than 10 weeks interval.

My GF has been called for her second after 10 weeks. Because I booked through a hub, I have a 12 week wait. Still, better than living in India.

OK, I admit, I am on my own because, six months ago, I let my girlfriend down.
I have been too lazy to pump her up again.

    Silly steelemonkey...

Just for the record, I'm still sub-60 and had my second Pfizer shot nine days ago, just under nine weeks from the first. Am feeling very, very, smug. I shouldn't, because the only reason I was done so early is because of vaccine hesitancy / stupidity amongst others in my area.

Also just for the record, I had a slightly sore arm the day after the first shot, but nothing whatsoever after number two. Number one's injection was utterly painless, but number two hurt at about 0.5 on a logarithmic scale of 0-10.

OH is a tiny bit younger than me and had her first OAZ shot a week after my first Pfizer, but still hasn't been invited back for number two. We suspect it's because of an OAZ shortage.
Happy to be a feminist SJ(K)W snowflake in a godless universe, no matter what some experts think. And Braun was a twat who's not missed. At all.
