iPad logging on issues

For some reason my iPad has started to not put me straight onto TDF and I have to enter my user name and password manually each time. I don’t think I have changed any settings but the iPad recently updated itself - any idea what I need to do? t isn’t the end of the world but it is annoying.

That is what I thoiught initially but it happens everytime even after ticking the remember me box - it isn't just on TDF but also Horizons Unlimited and facepalm

For some reason best known to itself The Dive Forum has been using cookies including some very persistant ones lately in the last few weeks that track your every move and dont go away.
In Safari go to top bar and hit Safari, then down to - Preferences - Privacy - Cookies and Website Data- Then hit Manage Web Site Data
This will give you a list of all the cookies placed on your computer. Hit remove all.
If it or any other cookie remains they are classed as persistant and cannot be removed by Privacy Remove Cookies
You could try repeating remove but they will pop up again and again

In which case pull out of Safari and go into Finder then across the top bar into Go then down into Go to Finder

This will open into a box command with the heading Go to the folder.

Type in the following ~/Library/Safari/Databases/

Hit Go and a file with the heading _indexdDB will appear
Drag the whole file into the trash and empty the trash
It will ask are you sure, answer yes

Your now clear to go to the remember me tab on TDF

The persistant cookie however will return again but not for the first few log on's
You get a few clean log on's before the standard cookie re appears .

You should also be aware that all private messages on TDF can also be read by "administration"

Well I finally figured it out. I must have switched to “Private browsing” mode at some point as that stops all auto fill fields from then on until such time as you switch it off. I hadn’t even realised that there was such a thing on Safari. Lucky really as I was on some really dodgy sites - TDF being one.

Thanks for the suggestions, but alas they did not work.
