BCD hose

Hi guys just been messing about with kit and my bcd inflater connected is very difficult
to connect and disconect .Any advice or should a new hose be bought the dry suit inflater pops on and off with no issues .
Any help would be good cheers

Try soaking the connector in vinegar for an hour or so, then giving a quick scrub with a toothbrush before rinsing.

Soak initially in warm soapy water first to remove any salt deposit then go to the vinegar if needed but only leave immersed for a short time in the vinegar white distilled is better.

agreed.. leaving in strong vinigar too long can remove chrome. It cleans ok and will fix problem in short term but bare brass will then furr up again much faster. A little silicone grease wiped around the top of the slider and then worked down into the mechanism can help too

If the vinegar etc does not work, just replace it. They are dirt cheap (£30) and not worth spending too long messing around with when they play up.
