    Bsac Twinset

    Can anyone fire me over the bsac twinset course notes. Booked on but keen to look at the syllabus

    Yup, or would you recomend buying twins and just jumping in and having a go

    Correct, and it covers different twinset variants (independent, manifold, sidemount), dive planning, dSMB deployment (mid-water), and more.

    Or you could just book a twinset familiarisation with a tech instructor, it's one day with a couple of dives.

    Yep. It's what I did. And then repeated the process with a rebreather. Although I did do a course for that eventually.

    In fact, my first ever dive on twins (dive 33 IIRC) was done with only a single first stage because the second hadn't turned up in time. I was about to jump in when a certain GUE instructor wandered past, did a double take and said "What the fuck is that on your back???" He seemed happy with the response; "A single 24!"

    Well, my travel insurance and life insurance says I dive within my qualifications and limits

    So for the sake of a few quid lets do it properly
