Should Stoney Reopen NOW? a Facebook Confrontation!

Here's a facebook post urging Stoney Cove to open (sorry if you don't use facebook)

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/2068...3072962729006/

Very quickly descends into how much better some divers are than others. And I thought that dive forums were sometimes confrontational!

Highlights so far are "SPORT diver / REAL diver" and "you should sell all your kit" and the classic "give up befroe you KILL someone".

And my new favourite quote: "you’re one word in all-caps away from sounding like you need to be on medication."
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

I joined that group once, after about 15 mins reading the posts I "unjoined". I see nothing has changed.

The title of the group "Stoney Cove Buddy's" gives a clue to the level of conversation.

It seemed that anyone who didn't agree wasn't a proper diver. Especially anyone who thought they might need to rely on a buddy.
