“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”
Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
Was surprised how big the boats were up in Scapa. Converted trawlers, not dayboats as dahn sarf.
I guess the good thing from all this lockdown will be we'll appreciate our hobby that much more; just to get out and under seems like a distant dream at the moment. Definitely want to do more Scapa trips.
My Scapa trip isn't until October, so I'm hoping all this will have blown over by then.
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
Plan was Scapa in April , Shetland in July & Scapa in late October. Might get the last one but not holding out much hope to be honest
I trust my rebreather implicitly I just don't trust the owner

Yes, running a dive boat in the UK is a hard way to make a living, and there are real costs involved. But you have to always do right by your customers. The game is way too reputation based to be able to get away with crapping on the people who keep you going. Short sighted and not very smart. Glad common sense prevailed.
Our scuba trip that has been booked in April has been rebooked to later days, we have a special cancellation policy, to those who want to cancelled their booking but we are hoping they will not cancel instead rebooking will be a fair option.
