at time of writing, Stoney is still open, and Dosthill was (but their website is poor, and Facebook has ground to halt - so not 100% sure)

Rebreathers are like women; they pretend to love you, whilst taking all your money and trying to kill you.

I would have thought the advice to stay at home applies to all, unless it's critical, diving can wait, the virus won't.

    Keep safe and dive internetly.

You would think so. Try telling my boss!
    Paul.
If God had meant us to breathe underwater, he would have given us larger bank balances.
Human beings were invented by water as a means of moving itself from one place to another.

I've had an email this morning from one of the local boats - they are still going out but no tea or coffee. Personally I don't see the difference in sitting in a boat to sitting round a pub beer garden table so I think the boats should not go, but if your living depends on it the temptation is there.

Hopefully the government will see that dive boats are leisure sector and help with mooring fees as they have done with that sector's business rates. First rule of scuba - don't hold your breath.

There is no guidance specific to boats so it is entirely up to the skipper and they are . That said I know number of the boats at Eyemouth have taken the decision and moored up for the duration.

I think Boris Johnson was pretty clear tonight.
Diving is off for the foreseeable unless the sea or a lake is in your back garden
